Things to do

At Lough Ree Distillery, a visit is more than a tour—it’s a personal journey through the heart of Irish whiskey-making. Located on the banks of the River Shannon in the town of Lanesborough, our distillery blends tradition with innovation, craft with character.

Your experience begins with the story of how three siblings set out to honour a legacy – most notably with Bart’s, our first blended Irish whiskey, named after our late father, Bart Clancy. Bart approached life as a series of puzzles to solve, a mindset that continues to inspire everything we do.
